2011 Dates

During the early part of 2011, most of the staff of Moto-Morocco will be heading out to Tunisia and Algeria to recce routes , hotels and places to go for our exciting new trips in 2012, so we will only have one tour in the early part of the year.

THE BIG EASTER TOUR 2011

This trip starts at our base hotel in Al Haurin Le Grand (30 mins outside Malaga) on Sunday April 10th, with an early morning departure to cross into Morocco on Monday the 11th (we get the first ferry we can to maximise the day’s riding in Morocco)
We return to the same hotel on Saturday the 23rd April in the afternoon, and riders who are flying to Spain will be ferried to the airport on Sunday 24th. The trip is suitable for any bike of 500cc or larger, is suitable for pillions and will be completely road based (there is a hard compressed mud track to get to a hotel near Erg Chebbi but other than that, it will all be on tarmacced roads)
We will cover approximately 2500 miles inside Morocco, ranging from some tight and twisty switchbacks, some high pass riding, long desert flats and everything inbetween. Precise routes cannot be set in stone until much closer to the trip because of local conditions and weather, but Fes, Marrakech, the cathedral sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, the awesome Dades and Todra gorges and the Tizi N Tichka pass will be on the itinerary, along with some of the best roads you will ever have ridden.
